This work explores why we revere romantic quests for the sublime whilst also investigating the latent 'failure' that lies in all such acts. Reflecting on relentless pursuits of greatness defined less by arrival than by striving. It draws on the dreamscape of the space race and Yuri Gagarin, not as a hero who arrived, but as a figure caught in the eternal stretch toward the unreachable.
